YOUTH OF QUY NHON PORT AND YOUTH OF VIMC SPREAD THE TRADITION OF "REMEMBERING THE SOURCE OF THE WATER YOU DRINK"“

In commemoration of the 79th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2026), the Youth Union of Quy Nhon Port Joint Stock Company coordinated and participated in a series of activities organized by the Youth Union of Vietnam Maritime Corporation (VIMC) in Gia Lai province. These activities contributed to educating about revolutionary traditions, spreading the principles of "Remembering the source when drinking water" and "Showing gratitude," while also inspiring a sense of responsibility and a desire to contribute among union members and young people.

On July 25, 2026, the Standing Committee members, Executive Committee members, Inspection Committee members, key officials, and youth union members of the VIMC system offered incense to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at Nhon Chau Martyrs' Cemetery. In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegates offered incense, observed a moment of silence, and lit candles at each grave, expressing their profound gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the nation.

Continuing the program, the VIMC Youth Union organized a visit and gift-giving program for wounded and sick soldiers in difficult circumstances in Quy Nhon Nam ward and a "Red Address Journey" to "Quy Nhon Port - The site of the 300-day troop mobilization to the North (1954-1955)". During the program, the delegation kindly visited and presented meaningful gifts to the wounded and sick soldiers; they also organized tours to learn about the historical value of the site, helping the youth union members recall the heroic milestones of the nation, fostering patriotism, national pride, and a sense of responsibility among the younger generation in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.

As part of a series of activities, the Quy Nhon Port Youth Union, together with Comrade Dang Huy Cuong – Secretary of the VIMC Youth Union, visited and presented gifts of gratitude to Comrade Le Ba Kha – a security team member, Administrative and Organizational Department of Quy Nhon Port Joint Stock Company, who is a war invalid who participated in international missions in Cambodia.

This series of activities not only contributes to caring for and encouraging families of policy beneficiaries and those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution, but also creates an environment for youth union members to review historical traditions and raise awareness of the responsibilities of the younger generation towards the country. Through this, it further affirms the pioneering, volunteer, and socially responsible role of the youth of Quy Nhon Port and VIMC in community activities, contributing to building a sustainably developing enterprise while preserving and promoting the fine traditional values of the nation.
