At 7:00 am on September 12, 2015, Quy Nhon Port welcomed the MCC SEOUL, the first container ship to launch a direct shipping service to the Northeast Asian countries of MCC.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This is a very important event, opening a new development stage for the Central region – Central Highlands in general and Binh Dinh province in particular, helping the trade of goods to markets in North Asia is agreed. more benefit by reducing time and transport costs, increasing the competitiveness of goods compared to other countries in the region.<\/span><\/p>\n

The opening of a sea shipping route from Quy Nhon directly to North Asia is a very necessary demand and brings many benefits to import-export enterprises such as:<\/span><\/p>\n

– Transport time for exports from Quy Nhon to North Asian countries is shortened (only 04 days to Hong Kong, down 7 days).<\/span><\/p>\n

– Time to transport imported goods from Quy Nhon countries will be about 06 days (down 10 days).<\/span><\/p>\n

– Sea transport costs drop significantly.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Quality of goods is guaranteed and reduce the risk of damage to goods due to long transport time.<\/span><\/p>\n

– Monetary circulation is faster and Enterprises can be more active in cash flow when capital turnover time is shortened.<\/span><\/p>\n

With a stable ship schedule (departing every Wednesday) and transit time to different destination ports, it is forecasted that in the coming time, there will be many import-export products through this route such as: wood pellets, tapioca starch, rubber wood … In the first trip to open a new transport route, the MCC SEOUL ship handled 267 containers of enterprises such as Tien Dat, Nghia Tin, Phuoc Hung … (imported), Tan Gia Bao, Quoc Thang, Hoang Minh, Hoang Phat … (for export).<\/span><\/p>\n

The event also highlighted the important role of Quy Nhon Port in the connection between shipping lines and customers in the spirit of mutual benefits.<\/span><\/p>\n

As planned, in the coming time, SITC will also bring its fleet to operate the direct cargo route from Quy Nhon Port to Noi A.
